Some people suspect the WGT organisation of being just a tad fascist (there's "clues" on the website e.g. the writing style is apparently typical for neonazis, inappropriate nazi imagery etc). I'm not sure if this is true, mainly because I lack the cultural background for it.
Did these people use any nazi imagery? Swastikas, SS symbols? It's probably only illegal if there's that kind of symbol on it. Also, sometimes special rules apply to events with costumes (or at least in Belgium they do).
